NOVEMBER 24TH MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME PACKERS V.S. SAINTS We would like to invite everyone in the parish to Men's Club sponsored party at Perni's Place (formerly Klippers) at 189 Concord Plaza. December 6th Pasta Dinner Next Pasta Dinner will be Saturday December 6th at 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the church basement. $7.00 per adult, $ 4.00 per child. This includes ALL YOU CAN EAT Rigatoni Pasta with Red Meat Sauce, Pasta House Type Salad, Fresh Baked Bread and butter with Olive oil for dipping, Dessert and Drink (Tea, Lemonade of Coffee). Carry outs available. Beer, Wine and Soda will be available for purchase. ACTIVITIES: Social hour to follow the dinner: Music, Cards and Beverages. Poker chips will be available. Well it doesn’t look like we have any new Millionaires in the parish after our first Assumption Night at the Races. Many attendees broke even or maybe won a dollar or two. We had tables right at the windows in the main club house for thirty six members and that filled up fast. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food on the buffet was exceptional. We had the second race designated for the Assumption Men’s Club and we had six folks go down to the winners circle to have their picture taken with the winning Jockey and Horse. We are already excited to make this an annual event and next year we will plan in advance for larger turn out and maybe a bus to take us over and back to the track. Assumption Men’s Club 2008 Calendar of Events: The following schedule of events will be firmed up once volunteer committees have been staffed to run these events. NOTE NO JULY MEETING - September meeting 4th Monday 9-22 church basement. Meeting to begin 6:30, Social hour to start 7:30

The Club's mission is to be an outlet for the spiritual, social, and service focuses energies of the men of Assumption parish. The Club's goal is to promote it's members to participate in the life of the parish community through projects and social events to provide physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial resources where and when they are needed within the Parish Community. The Club's reaching out to the families of the Parish and to the community at large through service, reflects out role as Disciples of Christ. Our values are simple and enduring: - Committed to Christ, our families and the community
- Generous in sprit and deed
- Willing to work and guaranteed to have fun
- Open and welcoming to all men in the parish
